For a bridal boutique in Reggio Calabria, Macropix created an LED installation designed to enhance collections, imagery and promotional content through an elegant and contemporary visual solution. The project features a 2.5 × 1.5 metre LED screen with a 2.6 mm pixel pitch, a resolution of 960 × 540 pixels and a brightness of 1,000 nits.
The fine pixel pitch provides detailed, well-defined images even at relatively short viewing distances, an important advantage in a bridal retail environment where fabrics, dress details, photography and emotional imagery need to be displayed with particular accuracy. The 1,000-nit brightness also helps maintain vivid, clearly visible content under the different lighting conditions found inside a retail store.
Installation benefits
Introducing an LED Wall into a bridal boutique transforms a traditionally static surface into a dynamic communication tool that can become an integral part of the customer experience.
In a highly visual sector such as bridal fashion, the ability to display high-quality photographs, collection videos, close-ups of dresses, fashion shows and brand campaigns makes it possible to communicate the value of the products in a far more engaging way than traditional printed materials. The 2.6 mm pixel pitch is particularly suitable for this application because it provides excellent visual continuity even when the display is viewed from only a few metres away.
The LED screen can therefore be used to:
- showcase new collections and featured dresses;
- display campaign videos, photo shoots and brand content;
- promote special events, appointments or offers;
- update communication quickly without changing the physical store setup.
With dimensions of 2.5 × 1.5 metres, the screen creates a strong visual focal point while remaining proportionate to the retail environment, helping give the boutique a more contemporary and premium appearance.
Digital content also provides significant operational flexibility. Visuals can be changed according to new collections, seasons or marketing campaigns, allowing the store to regularly refresh its communication without producing and replacing printed materials.
Product used
The installation uses Macropix’s Mobilis-L indoor LED display family, developed to combine high visual quality with a slim structure and considerable installation flexibility.
One of the main characteristics of Mobilis-L is its die-cast aluminium cabinet, with a depth of just 40 mm. This slim construction allows the display to integrate discreetly into architectural and retail environments. The product range includes panels in different sizes that can be combined according to the dimensions and requirements of each installation.
Mobilis-L has also been designed with a high level of component integration. Integrated connectors and concealed cabling help create a clean and orderly installation, an important advantage in premium retail spaces where the appearance of the technical components is also important.
Its modular construction provides additional flexibility, as panels of different sizes can be combined to adapt the LED surface to the available space and to create more customised configurations when required.
Key characteristics of the Mobilis-L platform also include:
- refresh rate of at least 3,840 Hz for smooth reproduction of moving content;
- wide viewing angles of up to 160° horizontally and 155° vertically;
- both front and rear maintenance access;
- several installation options, including wall-mounted and suspended configurations.
These characteristics make Mobilis-L particularly suitable for retail environments. Retail is specifically listed among its intended applications, alongside showrooms, reception spaces and other highly visible indoor installations.
