For Pubblinum, Macropix created a large-format outdoor LED installation in Viale Cassala, Milan, designed specifically for high-impact advertising communication.
The project features a Gold SMD LED screen with a 6.6 mm pixel pitch, measuring 9 × 6 metres, with a resolution of 1334 × 864 pixels and a brightness of 6000 nits. Installed directly on the building façade, the display was designed to ensure strong visual presence within the urban environment and excellent readability of advertising content from a distance.
The outdoor LED technology used for this project is specifically designed for permanent exterior installations. The Signum-FS range is developed for applications such as LED billboards, rooftop displays and wall-mounted advertising screens.
Advantages of the installation
In a busy urban advertising environment such as Viale Cassala, a large-format LED display turns a building façade into a highly visible digital communication platform.
The 9 × 6 metre size provides strong visual impact and makes advertising messages easy to see even from a considerable distance. Compared with traditional static billboards, digital LED technology also allows campaigns, videos and creative content to be updated quickly and frequently.
The 6000-nit brightness ensures excellent visibility during daylight hours and in bright outdoor conditions. The Signum-FS platform has been developed for high-brightness outdoor applications and is designed to maintain stable performance over extended periods of operation.

Product used
This project uses a solution from the Macropix Signum-FS range, designed specifically for permanent outdoor LED installations.
The system is built with aluminium modules, helping improve heat dissipation and long-term reliability. Data and power components are protected and integrated into the structure, while the internal connections are designed to reduce visible cabling and simplify the overall construction.
Outdoor protection is a key feature. Signum-FS offers IP68 protection on the front and IP66 on the rear, with sealed aluminium construction and waterproof connectors.
