The installation of the new high definition LED screen at Crédit Agricole’s Milan headquarters is the result of a partnership between Macropix and Essedi srl, the company responsible for supply and overall project management. The aim was to equip the bank’s interior spaces with a technologically advanced visual solution capable of enhancing the environment and supporting modern, refined digital communication. The display, with overall dimensions of 300 × 168.8 cm in a 16:9 format, features COB (Chip-on-Board) technology with a 1.25 mm pixel pitch, ensuring extremely high image density and perfectly uniform viewing even at close distances. The modular structure, composed of 15 ultra-lightweight cabinets, allows for full front maintenance, simplifying technical operations and minimising downtime.
The control system is based on the UltraVID-VX1000 unit, which enables the simultaneous management of multiple video sources via HDMI, DVI, and 3G-SDI connections. The installation also included a spare parts kit, protective covers, a custom support structure with the relevant structural report, as well as logistics and installation services. Thanks to its combination of efficiency, design and visual performance, the Crédit Agricole project stands out as an elegant and sustainable digital communication solution, perfectly integrated into the bank’s architectural setting.
Technical details of the installation
Developed in collaboration with Essedi srl, the project involved the supply and installation of an LED display at Crédit Agricole’s Milan offices. Macropix selected the IMAGINIS-H1.2X series, a next-generation LED display featuring COB (Chip-on-Board) technology, chosen for its visual quality, reliability, and ultra-compact design.
- Product: high definition Indoor LED screen
- Display area: 3000 × 1688 mm
- Total area: 5.06 m²
- Aspect ratio: 16:9
- Resolution: 2400 × 1350 pixels
- Pixel pitch: 1.25 mm
The modular structure consists of 5 × 3 cabinets (600 × 338 × 60 mm), with a total weight of approximately 122 kg and a maximum power consumption of 2.03 kW. Wall mounting was carried out using a dedicated anchoring structure and protective covers, with full front maintenance to ensure easy operation and rapid servicing when required.
Components and control systems
All systems required for correct operation and content management were supplied together with the indoor LED screen:
- UltraVID-VX1000 control unit, designed to support multiple video sources with HDMI, DVI, and 3G-SDI signals.
- HD spare parts kit, ensuring long-term operational continuity.
- Custom support structure, lightweight yet stable, designed to minimise bulk and promote efficient heat dissipation.
- Indoor structural report, specifically for displays with a surface area between 5 and 10 m².
Benefits of the installation
The adoption of full Flip-Chip COB technology resulted in a highly efficient system with superior visual performance. Key benefits include:
- High definition and contrast (10,000:1), with deep blacks and realistic colours thanks to HDR technology.
- Excellent visual comfort, achieved by reducing blue light and delivering a soft, grain-free display.
- Ultra-slim design, with an overall depth of less than 70 mm, ideal for modern corporate environments.
- Long-term reliability, with LED lifespan exceeding 100,000 hours.
- Energy efficiency, with average consumption of just 125 W/m², around 30% lower than market standards.
- Comprehensive protection, featuring dustproof, antistatic, and anti-collision cabinets (IP54/IP40 rating).
A 160° viewing angle ensures uniform visibility from all perspectives, making the screen ideal for representative areas, meeting rooms, and institutional visual communication spaces.

Products used: Imaginis-H
The project utilised the IMAGINIS-H1.2X model to achieve a fine-pitch, high-definition LED wall—a top-of-the-range solution featuring:
- COB (Chip-on-Board) technology with full Flip-Chip RGB design and common cathode.
- Optimised thermal dissipation and ultra-light mechanical structure (5 kg per cabinet).
- Refresh rate: 3840 Hz.
- Brightness: 600 nits, with superior colour rendering and no reflections.
- Adjustable colour temperature from 3500 K to 10,500 K.
- CE certification and EMC Class B compliance, ensuring the lowest level of electromagnetic interference in its category.
